Dean's Master's Fellowship
We are pleased to announce a brand-new fellowship opportunity available to both domestic and international Master's students. You are eligible to apply if you have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and/or a Quantitative GRE score of 780 AND you have been admitted to a USC Engineering MS program. Forty partial fellowships (3-6 course units per student) will be awarded to outstanding incoming students.

Chevron-USC Partnership Fellowship
To support the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering vision and commitment to creating sustainable energy supply systems, Chevron is pleased to announce the 2010 Chevron – USC Partnership Fellowships. Five outstanding incoming Master’s students will be awarded $15,000 fellowships each at the beginning of the fall term. Recipients will be honored at a Chevron sponsored event and will have continual contact with Chevron executives, with opportunities for future internships and employment.

Karl Jacob Graduate Fellowship
The Karl Jacob Graduate Fellowship supports incoming University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering master's students in the fields of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering. Karl Jacob Scholars show promise of future leadership and accomplishment in the field of engineering. One $5,000 fellowship will be awarded each fall.

Master's Researcher Award
The USC Viterbi School of Engineering Master's Researcher Award is a merit-based scholarship awarded to outstanding applicants of any full-time engineering master's program interested in conducting research at the Biomimetic MicroElectronic Systems Engineering Research Center. The Master's Student Researcher Award is highly competitive. One full-tuition scholarship and several partial-tuition scholarships will be awarded to incoming Master's students demonstrating academic excellence and strong promise in the field of research.

The Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering MS Honors Program
The Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering would like to invite exceptional students admitted to the EE department to apply for the highly selective MS Honors Program. The MS Honors Program provides outstanding students with the opportunity to enhance their graduate experience through participation in research and many additional benefits. MS Honors Program recipients are also eligible for a scholarship of up to three tuition units - approximately $4,100 - during their last semester of study.

Viterbi School of Engineering Boeing Scholarship
In affiliation with Boeing's Learning Together Program, the Viterbi School of Engineering Boeing Scholarship has become available for employees of The Boeing Company admitted to a Master's program within the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, both on-campus or through the Distance Education Network. Scholarships covering full tuition and mandatory fees will be awarded in Fall 2010 to six incoming Master's students.

Viterbi Squared Program
Alumni of Viterbi's M.S. programs who return to complete a 2nd M.S. degree will be awarded a 3 unit fellowsip during their final semester of study if they maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Scholarship
A one-time cash award given by the Phi Beta Kappa Alumni of Southern California to international students nearing completion of their studies. Applicants must demonstrate quality of academic performance.

Rockwell Dennis Hunt Scholastic Award
$2,500 is given each year at the Honors Convocation to a USC graduate student who was also an undergraduate at USC.

Need-Based Financial Aid

Norman Topping Student Aid Fund
Provides tuition grants for incoming low income graduate students who demonstrate community awareness. Given the spirit of the Fund, preference in the selection process is given to applicants who reside in communities immediately surrounding both the University Park and Health Science campuses, as well as first generation college students. USC Women in Management Scholarship
This scholarship, usually in the amount of $1,000, reflects WIM's commitment to assist women in acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to be a leader in making a contribution to society. Candidates are sought who have overcome obstacles and demonstrated strong leadership ability and potential. Criteria for consideration are as follows: Must be a female graduate student age 35 or older as of March 31st of the current year with a minimum 3.0 cumulative graduate GPA; candidates must have completed a minimum of 8 graduate units at USC for Master's degrees by the time of application and 16 graduate units at USC for Doctoral degrees; anticipated completion of degree must be one year or more after the current year. USC faculty and staff employed half time or more are not eligible. Candidates may apply online at http://www.usc.edu/org/wim/scholarship.html.
Non-USC Scholarships [top]
The National GEM Consortium's primary focus is to administer and award fellowships with paid internships to highly qualified under-represented students who wish to pursue graduate studies in engineering or science.
Supports thirty individuals a year for up to two years of graduate study in any subject. Students already in graduate study are eligible, though not past their second year.
