Overview
Custom Courses are designed to harness the expertise of USC Faculty for the specific needs of an organization. The USC Viterbi School of Engineering Professional Programs team will assess the organization's needs and identify a faculty member with specialized knowledge in the desired area of education. Throughout the development process, the Professional Programs team will work closely with an organization to ensure that the course curriculum and method of delivery are in line with the organization's goals.

Faculty Expertise
Faculty at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering offer organizations the expertise needed to develop specialized content based on research and industry experience. USC Viterbi School faculty members have concentrations in the following engineering disciplines: aerospace, astronautics, aviation safety, biomedical, civil, computer science, chemical, electrical, environmental, industrial, materials, mechanical and systems.

Flexibility
Custom Courses provide organizations with flexibility in pricing, location and timing. Program costs are based on the method of delivery, content creation and faculty instruction. Courses can be taken at the company site, on USC's campus or online. The length of the program can vary from a few days to several sessions over an entire year.

The USC Viterbi School's Custom Courses reward an organization with more knowledgeable and well-trained employees. Individuals can benefit by receiving a quality professional education and a USC Viterbi School of Engineering Professional Programs Certificate upon course completion. Continuing Education Units and Professional Development Hours are also available upon request.

Delivery Options
On site  Courses delivered at the company site. On-site courses allow organizations to save on travel and accommodations expenses.

On-Campus  Courses held in state-of-the-art facilities on the University of Southern California campus, located in downtown Los Angeles. Accessibility to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and downtown hotels make attending courses on campus convenient for participants.

Online  Courses delivered completely online (online/in-person hybrid versions also available). The online method enables interaction with the faculty and fellow participants, allowing employees from several sites to participate simultaneously.
